Pickled Red Onions

Spice up your salads and sandwiches with these tangy pickled red onions. Medjool dates give them a hint of sweetness. Simple to put together, as well as, Whole30, Paleo, and Vegan friendly. So great to have on hand!

Pickled Red Onions

  • Ready inRefrigerate overnight


    • 2 Medjool dates, finely chopped
    • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar


    1. Place all ingredients in a container with a tight-fitting lid.
    2. Cover the container and shake to combine.
    3. Refrigerate overnight. Occasionally stir the onions so those on the top end up on the bottom and properly marinate.
