Amber Waves Farm

We love to visit Amber Waves Farm, located in Amagansett NY. It’s easy to get inspired by their seasonal produce and we love their mission – to produce organic, healthy food for their local community and to provide educational opportunities in agriculture and food. The farm was started by Amanda Merrow and Katie Baldwin in 2009. A decade later they continue to thrive and give to their community.

Amber Waves Farm grows hundreds of varieties of vegetables and herbs for their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program. We really like that they have tailored their program to provide options for full-time and seasonal residents.

The farm is well known for its Amagansett Wheat Project. Launched back in 2009, the project’s goal was to to reintroduce wheat and other small grains. Today Amber Waves Farm’s grains and wheat berries are used in restaurants and bakeries throughout the Hamptons.

Looking for fresh flowers? They grow 75 varieties of cut flowers.

The farm is a terrific place to relax with a cup of coffee and a bite to eat from their onsite kitchen and market. Browse around the market and take a stroll through the fields.

Please check out Amber Waves Farm’s website for all of their information, including history, hours, CSA options, and many educational opportunities they provide. If you live in or visit the Hamptons, please stop by Amber Waves Farms.

Thank you Amanda, Katie and all of the staff an Amber Waves Farms for what you bring to our community.
